SUMMARY:SFU Cafe Scientifique - Climate Change Facts for Skeptics
DESCRIPTION:Dr. John Clague will present scientific evidence that points to climate change as a serious threat to our planet. So why is the public reticent to take this problem seriously? Clague will discuss some of the social and economic barriers worldwide that have delayed serious action to deal with the problem. Speakers will discuss their health or popular-science related topic\, without the use of audio visual materials or handouts\, for approximately 30 minutes.
