SUMMARY:Heritage Christmas
DESCRIPTION:Join the Burnaby Village Museum this Heritage Christmas for some old-fashioned fun and spectacular light displays. Special entertainment is scheduled throughout the season including theatre performances\, community choirs\, street characters and musicians. Many family favourite activities are back including a craft fair for children\, baking in the Farmhouse and visits with Father Christmas. \nNew this year to the Heritage Christmas festivities is a Holiday Sing-Along where everyone can be a part of a lively chorus. Also new is the West Coast Christmas display which includes white lights\, umbrellas and elegant eco-sculpture and ladies in the Orientation Plaza and the Orchard. SUMMARY:SFU Men's Hockey Game vs. Selkirk College Saints & Teddy Bear & Underwear Toss
DESCRIPTION:Cheer on the SFU Men’s Hockey team as they battle against the Selkirk College Saints at the Bill Copeland Sports Centre. This game will also feature a teddy bear & underwear toss when SFU scores their first goal of the night. \nFans are asked to come to the games with a small plush toy or a new package of underwear/socks and when the SFU Men’s hockey team scores their first goal of the night these items will be thrown onto the ice. All items tossed onto the ice will be collected and donated to local shelters around Metro Vancouver. Free tickets are available at the SFU Community Trust office. First come\, first served.
