SUMMARY:UniverCity Community Clean Up Day
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 22nd\, 2018 | 10:00am – 12:00pm\nUniversity Highlands Elementary School\, 9388 Tower Road\nOrganized by: Residents of UniverCity \nFamilies of UniverCity will be organizing this year’s community clean up event. This mountaintop tradition brings together hundreds of volunteers to pitch in and help pick up garbage across the community. Volunteers are asked to register and will be assigned a designated clean up area. Gloves\, garbage bags will be provided for all volunteers\, as well as snacks and refreshments. The Clean-Up will occur rain or shine and all children must be supervised by an adult. Participants will have an opportunity to win participation prizes such as Telus World of Science tickets\, Mountain Equipment Co-op gift cards\, SFU Bookstore gift cards\, and Cineplex movie packages. The Community Clean-Up is sponsored by the SFU Community Association\,  Nesters Market and the SFU Bookstore.  \nLet’s keep our award-winning community beautiful and garbage free!
