Plant Salvage on Parcel 18

Get a selection of plants to complete your garden during a plant salvage at the site of the newest development at UniverCity, Parcel 18 (corner of Highland Court and University Crescent). Intergulf Development Group will soon begin developing Parcel 18 into 186 residential condos, and SFU Community Trust is asking for volunteers to salvage and remove any non-invasive species of plants on the site.
Details:
Meet at the southwest corner of Parcel 18 (northwest corner on University Crescent) on Sunday, February 21st, 2016, between 1:00 and 4:00pm.
Bring your own tools, transportation, and any other equipment you may need.
Wear sturdy work clothes, long sleeves and long pants, work gloves and boots (steel toed preferred).
Please clean up any dirt/soil/debris that is left on the road or sidewalks.
This event will occur rain or shine.
