SFU Community Association Annual General Meeting
April 27, 2017 @ 6:00 pm
The SFU Community Association was established in 2002 to address matters of mutual interest to the UniverCity community and help facilitate communication between UniverCity residents, the SFU Community Trust, Simon Fraser University, and outside organizations. The Association’s role is to initiate programs and projects that enhance and promote UniverCity as an attractive community to live and work. The SFU Community Association administers the SFU Community Granting Program, to support community events and programs. The Association also acts as a liaison with the Burnaby RCMP and the City of Burnaby on certain issues. Membership in the Community Association consists of representatives from each strata corporation or housing co-operative, owners of development sites under construction and the SFU Community Trust. The SFU Community Association meets five times a year. Residents interested in contacting the Community Association can do so through their building association representative, or by contacting the Trust by phone at 604-291-3000, by email at Info@UniverCity.ca, or drop by the Trust offices in The Cornerstone between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.
